What Is ABBC?
Anti-Business Business Club is a safe space in New York’s Hudson Valley where you can connect with other self-employed folks and share your experience being your own boss, even if you wish you didn't have to be.
We throw laid back events for people who are anti-capitalist and want to escape the rat race. We use money to survive, but we value people over profits. We seek out experiences that are more important than money, and we support each other along the way.
We don’t care about your industry or what stage your business is in, whether you’ve been around for decades or you’re just getting started. Come for connection and solidarity, and hopefully you'll leave with new friends.
Our Values
Anti-Capitalist
We fundamentally agree that capitalism is not a good way to run a society.
Genuine
We encourage each other to express our authentic selves, whatever that looks like.
Supportive
We do our best to accommodate support needs and feedback from our members.
Collaborative
We share knowledge and resources with each other to strengthen our community.
Respectful
We show each other respect, even when we disagree. We don’t tolerate hate or abuse.
Joyful
Life is too short to have a bad time. Your presence, ideas, and contributions can help make these events better.
